Both of these items are Monster Infrequents that are easy to farm on each difficulty while leveling up. Until you can get your hands on either of these items you can always farm up a Sabertooth or Einherjar's Fate as well. When it comes to your weapons I'd recommend you get something like Lævateinn or Iris. If you don't want to spend tons of gold on Energy Potions then I recommend you get an item like Iris (weapon), Huo Qubing's Helm or use a Relic like Incarnation of the Golden Fleece on a chest piece. Gear with +% Energy Regeneration as well as -% Energy Cost are important for this build too since we'll be using some spells in Earth Mastery that cost a lot of Energy. Keep this in mind if you plan on playing a Battlemage yourself.Īs for your gear you'll be using Strength based gear for the most part and you'll want to look for items with high resistances, % Physical Damage and +Skills. The survivability of this combo is lacking even with good gear and I was never able to stop feeling "squishy" with this build. My personal opinion of this mastery combination is that it comes in at slightly below average in terms of how powerful it is when compaired against other mastery combos. There are a couple of skills in Earth Mastery which deal both Fire and Physical Damage which we'll be taking advantage of with this build. Maybe a tad bit of Health if you feel you needīattlemage is the combination of Warfare and Earth masteries and is typically played as a melee dual wield character who uses Earth Mastery to supplement our damage and increase our survivability. Important Stats: +Skills, % Physical Damage increase and -Energy Cost along with %Energy RegenerationĪttributes: Enough Dexterity to use gear and the rest goes into Strength for boosting damage. Primary Skills: Onslaught, Volcanic Orb, War Horn, Meteor Rain, Fire Nova, Battle Standard, Summon Core Dweller, Heat Shield, Ring of Flame all these recharge times are annoying.Skill Trees: Earth Mastery and Warfare Mastery melee seems more solid, but seems to be lacking aoe.Įdit: screw it im going melee, bow or staff with ternion. caster would be nice, but i remember the cooldowns being irritating. but as mentioned before, i heard poison is shit.Īll in all, im not even sure if a want to play a full caster or martial. Rogue: the crowd control/debuffs and combining the poisons with ternion sounds interesting. haruspex with a spear, as i mentioned, however didnt feel that fun so far. you get take down, which has a cooldown, and thats it. im just not sure if theres good synergy there and how this is actually played with spear/bow or just ternion attack again? i find it pretty irritating that there isnt a default weapon attack for spear in this mastery, like psionic touch, tho. Hunting: a bonecharmer sounds interesting. with spells like distortion wave, distort reality and spirit mastery, would this work as a traditional caster? focussing on vitality damage and/or electric burn? but the trances and lucid dreaming passive just look too good/overpowered to not take it. ![]() not sure if i want to play with ternionĭream: tried this out as a haruspex, with psionic, phantom strike and the wave. necrosis sounds great for vitality damage skills (from dream). as mentioned before, i dont have atlantis, so no final row masteries for me. ![]() however, i dont see how youre supposed to do damage besides pets and staff attacks. Spirit: seems cool, lots of powerful buffs/debuffs. so overall im just not sure about how accurate any of the things that i find online are. however, from what ive gathered, that got buffed in anniversary. titancalc seems outdated.Īnd then theres a lot of talk about how shit casters and things like bleed or poison are. which isnt surprising, considering how old the base game is, but plenty of them seem to be from since before anniversary edition even. I had a vague idea of wanting to try out dream (new to me) and spirit or hunting, but i have difficulties deciding.įor one, all the builds and material online seems to be pretty old. ![]() but i also dont want a build that becomes a broken cripple halfway through the second difficulty. it's going to be rather casual, with a group of friends (one picked earth/nature already, so thats probably out), so i dont need the best, biggest meta build. Im about to try titan quest again after years Anniversary Edition, no Ragnarök, no Atlantis (so no additional skill row, i guess?). TLDR: I just dont know what to play and which masteries to pick.
